Launched by a group of Connecticut bioscience companies, SPRINT—Student Program to Ready Interns for Next-generation Talent—offers more than 100 paid job opportunities across all functions of the life sciences industry. Any Connecticut-based life sciences company offering paid internships can join and gain exposure through the program.

The SPRINT website lists paid internships with Connecticut life sciences companies, helping you connect with students who are looking to gain professional experience. Interested candidates can apply right on the SPRINT website; they can also learn about Connecticut, get career advice and join a mailing list to stay up to date with the program.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT
Connecticut organizations like New Haven Promise, BioPath and CTNext have committed time and resources to help make SPRINT a success. New Haven Promise and BioPath can help identify internship candidates, especially diverse students from New Haven, while CTNext offers its Technology Talent Bridge grant program, which funds up to 50 percent of the cost of paying the intern. (Technology Talent Bridge applications are accepted once a year; check deadlines before applying.)
DETAILS AND DEADLINES
Students are encouraged to apply for internships throughout January and February; a kick-off event for hired interns will take place in June, followed by a celebratory event in August.
