NEW HAVEN, Conn. October 26, 2022 Connecticut Innovations(CI), the state’s venture capital arm, today announced that Joseph R. Nolan, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Eversource Energy, will be the keynote speaker at the VentureClash Climate Edition pitch event on Thursday, October 27, in New Haven. Nolan heads New England’s largest utility, serving approximately 4.3 million electric, natural gas and water customers across Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He will address an audience of corporate partners, investors and selected domestic and international companies seeking to solve pressing climate-related problems.

Throughout his 35 years at Eversource, Nolan has held extensive leadership positions in customer service, government and regulatory affairs, community relations and corporate strategy. He has played a critical role in leading the company’s environmental stewardship and clean energy efforts.
