Connecticut Innovations Invests $6.4 Million in Q1 2019
Deals leveraged nearly $12 million in outside capital in first quarter of the new fiscal year
Rocky Hill, Conn. – November 13, 2018 – Connecticut Innovations (CI), Connecticut’s strategic venture capital arm and the leading source of financing and ongoing support for Connecticut’s innovative, growing companies, today announced that it invested $6.4 million in 22 companies during the first quarter of fiscal year 2019, ending September 30, 2018.
The investments leveraged an additional $11.7 million in outside capital. Among the investments, $3.2 million was invested in biotech companies, and $3.2 million was invested in other technologies.
