Connecticut Innovations Invests $14.3 Million in Early-Stage Companies in FY 2020 Q3
Deals leveraged more than $143 million in outside capital

Rocky Hill, Conn. – April 30, 2020Connecticut Innovations (CI), Connecticut’s strategic venture capital arm and the leading source of financing and ongoing support for Connecticut’s innovative, growing companies, today announced that investments during the third quarter of its 2020 fiscal year totaled $14.3 million across 39 transactions.

During this past quarter, $6.3 million in CI investment went to biotechnology companies, and $8 million went to information technology companies. The investments leveraged an additional $134.3 million in outside capital.
