Emma Twohill

Emma Twohill serves as a senior marketing coordinator for Connecticut Innovations. Emma is responsible for supporting the execution of marketing and communications plans at CI, with a focus on event management. Her role includes maintaining internal and external communication, and assisting with program execution, events, facilities, and social media. She has helped lead several initiatives at CI, including the Governor’s Innovation Fellowship, Tsai CITY Art Collaboration, Overbooked, Tidal River, VentureClash, Tour de Connecticut, CI’s Inaugural Talent Fair and more.

Emma started as a marketing intern for CI in 2020 and joined full-time in 2022. She spent two years studying public relations and event management at the University of South Carolina and served as the VP of philanthropy for the university’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

She completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Connecticut State University, graduating summa cum laude with a BS in communications and a concentration in public relations.
