Akira Dunham

Akira Dunham is an investment analyst at Connecticut Innovations, with a focus on building the Future Fund portfolio. Prior to CI, Akira received his B.S.E. and M.S. in civil engineering at the University of Connecticut. At UConn, he was responsible for the development of Hillside Ventures (student-run venture firm), where he led several investments in novel battery materials, mining waste repurposing technology and an intelligence platform for climate critical global infrastructure. Outside of work, Akira loves to hike, read about energy and geopolitics, and root for the UConn Huskies basketball team.
