You’ve been hand-selected to join CI’s first exclusive leadership development program launching this fall in partnership with HAVEN Human Assets. The hybrid-style program is designed to help CI portfolio company founders, CEOs, and other executive leaders grow and evolve in their current roles. We’ll dive into all the need-to-know details below, but for a quick verbal overview check out this video from our talent acquisition team. Please accept or decline your invitation by Friday, July 18.
Our first leadership workshop will cover Focus, Prioritization and Empowerment. Discussion topics include how scaling and focus live in the same organization, tools for the “what” and “how” of prioritization, the difference between delegation and empowerment, gauging the risks of empowerment and more.
The second session will bring everyone together for a deep dive into Navigating Difficult Conversations. The workshop will help leaders understand their roles in how communication drives collaboration and progress, discuss what makes high stakes conversations difficult, and consider the balance between speaking and listening.
For the final in-person session, we will focus on Optimizing Group Dynamics on Teams. Attendees will discuss what makes teamwork challenging and the conditions required to maximize performance and engagement, as well as how to diagnose strengths and improvement areas, learn teambuilding approaches to increase team effectiveness, and reflect on how to apply these strategies day-to-day.
Leadership Development Program Objectives
Elevate Leader Impact
Enhance Communication
Build Peer Networks
Other Program Components and Benefits:
Once all in-person workshops are completed, there will be three opportunities for you to join a virtual, small group coaching circle led by the HAVEN team. You are only required to attend one session. (Dates TBD)
These coaching circles will include 6-7 participants and are designed to encourage leaders to engage in deep discussion around key concepts to reinforce learning and share perspectives with one another in a more intimate setting.
Topics for these discussions include:
- Delegation and letting go
- Leadership presence and communication
- Adaptive leadership through times of ambiguity
Along with the workshops and coaching circles, participants will have the option to schedule up to three 1:1 office hour sessions with HAVEN. These meetings are not mandatory but will give you the opportunity to receive personalized guidance relevant to your unique challenges or questions, and deep dive into specific topics without the pressure or distraction of a group setting.
