CI Innovation Lab

CI Innovation Lab

The CI Innovation Lab, or InLab, connects startups to customers who will benefit from your services. That’s just the beginning. Once introductions are made, we also fund a structured pilot-to-procurement process designed to move you from proof of concept to purchase order in less than a year. Whether you’re modernizing healthcare, tackling climate change, disrupting education, or developing innovations for another industry, our goal is to help you form strategic alliances that will help you scale faster.

Over the years, CI has developed relationships with top decision-makers at state agencies, leading healthcare systems, colleges and universities, and Connecticut’s largest employers. We’re able to recommend your product or service to this vast and powerful network, creating opportunities for collaboration and impact.

Our pilot-to-procurement process is simple: We fund the pilot, develop success metrics, and strive to move from proof of concept to purchase order in under one year.

Entrepreneurs who are interested in learning more about InLab are invited to contact their deal manager.

CI seeks commercially scalable portfolio companies that are already generating revenue. (Not quite there yet? Contact your deal manager to see if you might still be a fit.)
