Dave Jenkins was an assurance partner in the PwC Hartford office, retiring June 30, 2017. He successfully managed a $6 million book of business across three strategic sectors—higher education/healthcare, technology and asset management—and was the leader of the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts higher education practice since 2010. He was one of seven partners managing a $50 million practice in the Hartford market with 11 office staff with full resource and P&L responsibility. Jenkins has over 30 years of experience with SEC registrant companies, private-equity portfolio companies and not-for-profit organizations. He was at PwC for 31 years, eight years in Rochester, New York, working on Eastman Kodak and Carestream Health, and the remaining years in the Hartford market. He has experience serving in the private sector, where early in his career he was the corporate controller for JPS Elastomerics Corporation, a public advanced materials company (now part of Dow) for three years.

Jenkins provides financial management, accounting and audit support advisory services to technology companies.

Jenkins has extensive experience in helping organizations work through complex business, accounting and financial reporting issues. He is experienced in debt and equity security offerings (public and private), revenue recognition, investment valuation, pension accounting, complex ownership structures and carve-outs. Jenkins has also advised clients on governance, enterprise risk, federal and state research award compliance, internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley implementation concerns. He led the firm’s IPO efforts on multiple technology securities.
