Abisola, an investment analyst at CI, supports the venture team with the technology investment process, which includes assisting in sourcing and updating the pipeline, performing due diligence on pipeline companies and/or funds, preparing investment memos and recommendations, and contributing to investment decisions. A prime focus for her career in venture capital is to push for more visibility and access to capital for women founders.
Prior to working at CI, Abisola worked in strategy consulting at KPMG Nigeria. She was the research lead at the graduate student–run Fletcher Social Investment Group (FSIG), where she worked on a strategy project for a Boston-based nonprofit accelerator, and she did a summer stint at MEST, a seed fund and incubator focused on training, supporting and investing in the continent’s most promising software entrepreneurs.
