The healthcare ecosystem is exploding with raw digital data. From hospital visits to doctor appointments to ER admissions and more, there are approximately 1 billion health-related encounters each year—with more than 4,100 data attributes per encounter. What’s more, some 4 million clinicians document these encounters in more than 100 certified electronic health records. The result? Inconsistent, duplicated and incomplete data that, absent expensive and error-prone manual cleanup, are unusable for patient care and analytics. Diameter Health is solving the healthcare industry’s complex data challenge. The company’s clinically validated five-step process normalizes, enriches, intelligently reorganizes, de-duplicates and summarizes clinical data in real time to support downstream applications, including patient care, quality reporting, risk adjustment and population health reporting.
