The best new ideas in Connecticut are showcased at this live, family-friendly Shark Tank-style pitch competition held several times a year throughout the state. Startups compete for up to $10,000 to help develop their ideas. Judges’ favorite and crowd favorite also receive awards, which can be used to complete clearly-defined business or technology innovation projects.

The goal of the SBIR Acceleration and Commercialization program is to increase the participation of Connecticut-based firms in federal SBIR and STTR grant programs. These highly competitive programs improve your small business’ chance of advancing your technology and achieving commercialization, higher profits, and job growth.

Technology Talent Bridge Internship is an internship grant program that links small technology businesses with undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral students. Held up as a best practice by other states, the program’s aim is to help your company fill key positions and help students find full-time employment upon graduation.
