Karin directs an array of programs for CI, including industrial revenue bonding, sales tax increment bond financings and the inducement program of sales tax exemptions for large projects. She heads the Connecticut Brownfields Redevelopment Authority, which uses tax increment financing to fund a project’s remediation costs. Karin also handles mezzanine debt to assist in the growth of young companies and previously ran the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) bonding programs.
Prior to joining CI, Karin worked in venture capital for a private equity group in Connecticut and was an investment banker in corporate finance at Paine Webber, specializing in initial and secondary public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.
