Clean tech investment opportunities have long been of interest to Connecticut Innovations, in part because of their public purpose benefits. Society’s growing concern about climate change and interest in clean energy/energy efficiency solutions has elevated this investment area to one of great importance.

CI makes most of its clean tech investments through the Connecticut Clean Tech Fund, which focuses on companies developing innovations that conserve energy and resources, protect the environment, or eliminate harmful waste.
