Connecticut Innovations’ current portfolio consists of over 50 early-stage high-tech companies spanning a variety of technology areas including bioscience, clean tech, information technology and photonics, among others. Most got their start in Connecticut, but some were recruited here with assistance from CI’s investment team. We have added entrepreneurial companies to our portfolio from New York, Virginia, France and other locations.

Since 1995, CI has invested in more than 100 companies.Our goal is to prepare each portfolio company for success through a combination of guidance and financial support.
